Whether it's a park, woods, or beach, prioritize deep breaths to inhale revitalizing benefits. Clean air fuels our bodies, rejuvenates cells, and strengthens the immune system. 2️⃣ Experience the Power of Grounding: 🌍 Step onto earth or grass with bare feet, absorbing the Earth's electrons. Grounding reduces inflammation, improves sleep, boosts mood, and promotes well-being. 3️⃣ Soak in Sunshine's Benefits: ☀️ Sunlight helps produce vitamin D, crucial for bone health, immune function, and vitality. It also boosts serotonin levels, improving mood and mental well-being. Incorporate these health tips into your routine and experience transformative effects. DONT EXERCISE OUTSIDE...with poor air quality! With all the smoke it's best to exercise indoors. Breathing poor quality air can cause ... 1. **Respiratory Problems**: Poor air quality, especially when containing pollutants like particulate matter, can irritate the respiratory system. When exercising, you take in more air and at a faster rate, which increases the amount of pollutants inhaled. This can exacerbate asthma symptoms, trigger bronchitis, and contribute to other respiratory issues. 2. **Cardiovascular Risks**: Pollutants found in poor air can increase the risk of cardiovascular events such as heart attacks and strokes. Exercising increases the blood flow, potentially speeding up the movement of these harmful particles throughout the body. 3. **Reduced Exercise Benefits**: Poor air quality can reduce the potential benefits of exercise. Instead of experiencing improved lung function and cardiovascular health, the negative effects of the pollutants may counteract these benefits. 4. **Compromised Immune System**: Regular exposure to polluted air can weaken the immune system, making individuals more susceptible to illnesses. Combining this exposure with the stress exercise can put on the body may further weaken one's defenses against infections. For these reasons, it's advisable to exercise indoors or during times when air quality is better if you live in an area with frequent poor air quality. So I have been doing COLD SHOWERS every day for the past year and a half... Would I recommend it? YES... Is it tough? YES... but in my opinion, the benefits are worth it! 🚿❄️💪 Cold Shower Guide: 1. End your shower by turning the temperature slightly colder. 2. Take 5 slow and deep breaths and try to stay under for 1 min. 🧘 3. As the week progresses, continue to turn the shower colder till you get to the coldest setting. 4. Goal: I do 1-2 min of cold/day.
